Pain comes for two reasons, physical damage and “guarding,” also called flinching. There is not a third reason why you have pain. This book is not about fixing physical damage, which may require surgery or other solutions. It’s about stopping pain due to flinching, which in my experience is the most common source of chronic pain.
The techniques Dr Worrell describes can be used on their own to bring complete relief or as an adjunct to other kinds of treatment including Physical Therapy, Chiropractic or Acupuncture or even surgery.
